These items are constructed with the crazed love of a three-year-old because that's how old I was when I first saw STAR TREK in 1966. That iconic starship and its mission has left a mark on my soul that only gets stronger with age. 

Pictured is my build of the Polar Lights 1/1000 scale TOS Enterprise Space Seed edition. This build is my personal display piece. Your build will be the same but with these differences:

--Your Botany Bay won't have meteor damage (unless you want it like that!)

--The base of the display box will have reflective holographic film not paint

WHY IS THE ENTERPRISE SO GREEN? Fun fact-because that's what color the hull really was! I mix this color custom in the lab and it is a darn close match to what you'll see in the Smithsonian where the original 11-foot shooting miniature of the Enterprise currently resides. If you want a Battleship Gray hull color or White hull color, you can customize that below. Also, you can have the Enterprise build as the 1st or 2nd Pilot versions or the series Production version (pictured above).

WHY IS THE HULL STREAKY? That's warp scorch marks from hot-rodding a Constitution-class starship across the galaxy at Warp 8 all the time. This "weathering" is on the Smithsonian ship, too. It looks great and keeps the ship looking 'real' rather than like a toy. BUT, you can bribe me to build it as if the ship is rolling out of dry dock for the first time, before any captains take it for a Warp 8 joy ride....

POOR MAN'S Lighting Kit! Put you model on display under a BLACK LIGHT and see the nacelles, navigation lights and shuttle bay navigation beacon light up brightly! This is STANDARD for all builds.

FOR THAT INNER 12 YEAR OLD:  yes, the cover lid is removable and the ships do come off the display posts so you can indulge the inner child and fly that baby around the room.

EACH BUILD IS CUSTOM FOR THE CUSTOMER. I don't have these sitting on a shelf waiting to be bought. I build each one when ordered. So it'll take a few weeks to build and send. I'll keep you in the loop with emails and pictures all along the way.
